What you need colorful felt {green, white, red} sewing machine {an alternative adhesive like a glue gun or velcro would easily work too} string, twine or rope scissors

What you do 1. Start by folding over the top edge of each piece of felt about 1 1/2 inches.

2. Sew a simple seam at the top of each piece of felt. No sewing machine? No problem. A glue gun, adhesive tape, velcro, etc. could all easily be used as a substitute.
